Dr. Krishna Karoo is an accomplished academic and experienced leader, currently serving as the Principal of Model Degree College and as an Assistant Professor in the Post Graduate Teaching Department (PGTD) of Computer Science at Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from RTM Nagpur University and boasts over 15 years of extensive teaching experience across various institutions.

Dr. Karoo’s academic journey began with an M.Sc. in Computer Science from RTM Nagpur University. He has developed expertise in key areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer programming, and software development. His commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his significant research contributions in Natural Language Processing (NLP), with multiple papers published in reputed international journals.

Throughout his career, Dr. Karoo has held several significant positions, including Head of Department (HOD) at various institutions, where he contributed to curriculum development and mentored students in subjects like BCA, BCCA, and BBA. His leadership roles extend beyond academics; he has served as an in-charge principal and actively participated in various administrative roles, including Nodal Officer for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan 2.0 and Coordinator for Skill Development initiatives.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Karoo is dedicated to the holistic development of students. He is a motivational speaker and has engaged with rural students in various workshops and NSS activities. His contributions have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the President's Award in Scouts and the Rajya Puraskar Award.
